We’ll be exploring a variety of yoga postures and breath awareness that support greater alignment and more physical ease in the body with a scoliosis. Practitioners will also learn modifications to commonly practiced yoga poses that support the needs of one’s unique body, and can limit rather than intensify the conditions of scoliosis. These classes will be infused with Iyengar and alignment-based yoga practices, mindfulness meditation, release work, Qigong, and deep core-awareness.
Through these blended practices we’ll sense greater alignment, flexibility, openness, and balance in body heart and mind amidst our curves and twists.
